26 Hours to Go

Yup, it's true. We leave in just under 26 hours. Our bags are just about packed. There's not much more to report for now. Since Kazakhstan is a blind referral country, we don't and won't know any more about the baby until we visit the baby house. At this point, we believe that first visit will be on Tuesday. We won't post much information or pictures until we accept a referral, which will probably be some time towards the end of next week. We want to thank our friends and families for their love and good wishes. We will miss all of you and your thoughts and posts will help us through our time away.

Dear Shana and Larry;
im sitting here at my parents home in freezing Ohio (46 degrees), telling them about your upcoming adventure to "Siberia." We all wish you two the best during the next month and hope that all goes well during the entire trip.
Being myself adopted, I am extremely proud and happy to see one of my dear friends share the love and joy of being a family, just like my parents did for me many years ago. I am proud to be adopted into my family and I am sure that your child will be raised with the same pride, love and joy. Please bring a little Belyeu home so that Vinny can have lots of fun during the football parties! Maybe I can corrupt your child to go to the University of Miami and his/her first words may be "Go CANES!" I am sure that the Gators will miss you in Kazakstan, but dont worry, the de Moraes-Millan household will keep you two updated. :)
Love you guys and hope all goes well. Remember, love is what a family is made of!

Shana & Larry,
It's Sunday morning and hopefully you are both safe and sound somewhere in Kaz. FSU & the Gators both won :) so all is right with the football world!
Southern Orchard is blissfully quiet and cool (around 70) and the Belyeu 4-legged children are all behaving well!
Miss you guys and wish you all the best. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and hope we get news of our new neighbor soon!

Larry and Shana,

Well Kellie and I just returned from our trip to Orlando for a wedding and the first words out of her mouth were, I wonder if Uncle Larry and Aunt Shana have met their new baby yet? I told her that we could go on the computer for an update. No sooner did I say that then the phone ring from the hunting camp for any updates. The waiting is killing us. I am sure you both are very tired from your long trip but are wide awake anxious to meet the new little Belyeu. We cant wait for an update. Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to you both. Not to mention some of the warmth from sunny Fla.

Lots of Love,
The Wilcox Family

Just letting you know that we are all thinking of you and trying to imagine the feelings you must be having upon meeting your little angel for the first time. This little one is lucky to have you both, and will feel loved from the moment you meet. Hope you are staying warm, but with how warm your hearts are that won't be hard. I know, sappy - but true.
